Bob continues the exploration of Beethoven’s String Quartets, in order of composition, on Monday May 17th with Opus 127 in E flat major, the first of the great Late Quartets. This will be followed by Opus 132 in A minor on May 24, then Opus 130 in B flat major with the Grosse Fugue on May 31, Opus 131 in C# minor on June 7^th, , Opus 135 in F major on June 21, and finally a reprise of Opus 130 with the new final movement rondo replacing the Grosse Fugue. Quartets will be played at 10:00 am.
