We’re gettin’ into the home stretch here: only a few more weeks of Summer await us before we has to resume life during non-magical, ordinary seasons like Fall. At least the Top 30′s not going anywhere, comin’ atcha every Friday from now until the end of time!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers of rocktacularness from the swift completion of their appointed weekly DJ rounds! Here it is, your weekly top thirty list of tunes that have rocked, rolled, bumped, and grinded the ears of our lovely on-air staff this week.

I haven’t been in the office for the past week, so I can’t fill you in too well about all the great WPRB happenings of the past few days, such as the first day of our awesome Localpalooza curation, but I can tell you about our Top 30. And what a wamp wamp wamp Top 30 it is… Dig it!

Prefacing this list is getting harder and harder. Mind mind is getting weaker and weaker. I can barely lift my shriveled fingers from key to key. And that’s why I’m taking a vacation this week! If you’re trying to get in touch with the Music Director before next Friday, you’re outta luck! (I’ll be checking email, but not my voicemail, and I won’t be in the office).

It’s not exactly easy coming up with something clever to preface the Top 30 with every week, and as I’m sure many of you have already picked up on, I’m not particularly good at it. So I’m not going to beat around this bush this week. Top 30. Here it is. Dig it.
