A Conversation with Gen. David Petraeus, from WPRB News

WPRB News: a special edition of “Taking On” with the head of United States Central Command General David Petraeus about military issues in the Middle East, from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, to drones, to cybersecurity. Gen. Petraeus is the 2010 recipient of Princeton’s James Madison Medal, the highest honor conferred upon a Princeton graduate alumnus. WPRB 103.3 FM’s annual Membership Drive returns for its third year in October and promises to be an exciting week filled with unique, exclusive programming from your favorite community supported independent radio station. The drive week will feature a variety of unique, exclusive programming, including live in-studio performances, artist interviews, expanded DJ sets, special on-air hosts – not to mention a few surprises. WPRB returns with a new and expanded lineup of membership premiums exclusive to this year’s drive, designed by a group of local and international visual artists.

Fairytale In A Supermarket: Another Localpalooza Recap

We’re a couple days late with this one, we know! That said, our second Localpalooza event at Whole Foods Princeton went swimmingly well. This time around our performers, DJs, and info booth were all indoors, which worked out for the better.

Boosh In New York!

On Tuesday night Jon Solomon and I went to see the Mighty Boosh in Manhattan. The first stop was at Other Music on 4th St., where the whole cast was signing autographs.

They sold out of DVDs, so I got them to sign a copy of Frank Zappa’s Waka Jawaka, which I just so happened to have on my person.

We also got our pictures taken with Bob Fossil and Howard Moon respectively, and I even got …
